Why doesn't Ritchie Bros. provide insurance for my equipment when it's at the auction site?
Only the legal owner can insure a piece of equipment. As such, all consignors and buyers must purchase on-site property insurance to protect their equipment against damage or loss while it's at a Ritchie Bros. auction site.
